The Mystery of God’s Will, Ephesians 1:9, According to God’s Good Pleasure

 Ephesians 1

King James Version (KJV)

Ephesians 1

1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Silver, Stainless Steel, Gray, Grey, Au Naturel, No Fear?

This post is inspired by Susan’s Flutterbys here.  This very subject has been on my mind because of the contracting field of women my “age”!

It’s kind of funny, sad, and maddening, but I find fewer and fewer of my friends and relations able to resist the flow of forever “youth”. Despite the fact that we all look the same age whether we color or not, there is a disconcerting difference between us, a sort of apologetic/guilty pause we share when noticing one another’s appearance when meeting for the first time in years. I don’t know which of us is more embarrassed to see the results of our aging, me with my gray hair or them with their “ageless” hair.

For what it’s worth, to me if no one else, here are my photos. Enjoy with me the freedom from maintaining roots.:)

Notice how well I blend in with the trees!

I suppose I AM as old as some of them!

Viva! Au Naturel!

Answered, Why Education in USA Has Degraded Over the Past Century

Bits & pieces,

bits & pieces,

bits & pieces,

I’ve felt like an amateur summer vacation archaeologist digging up shards, fragments, & detritus from a lost city many, many years and here finally I’ve found something very, very, very valuable.

If you homeschool, if you have children or grandchildren here is devastating history you cannot possibly do without if you wish to know the true condition of our American educational system.

Charlotte Thompson Iserbyt served as the head of policy at the Department of Education during the first administration of Ronald Reagan. While working there she discovered a long term strategic plan by the tax exempt foundations to transform America from a nation of rugged individualists and problem solvers to a country of servile, brainwashed minions who simply regurgitate whatever they’re told.

Part one of our exclusive interview with Iserbyt breaks down how conditioning/training under a corporate agenda has replaced traditional education, leading to a deliberate dumbing down of Americans. Iserbyt further explains how Reagan signed agreements merging the U.S. and Soviet systems under the United Nations banner, turning over education and many other areas of public policy to global control.

This 74 minute exposé is a must see for anyone who wants to truly know why the education system is deliberately crafted to produce human drones with no critical thinking whose only skills are to be subservient, trust authority and follow orders.

Neither Calvinism Nor Arminian

It has been a long road for me with many wrong turns in theology from following men instead of following the Holy Spirit’s interpreting the Word to me from the reading of the Bible.

My failing has always been lack of Bible study, putting so many things before my first love.

Here a young man who has memorized half the Bible, puts both schools of Christian theology under the Word and explains for me what I’ve been wanting to express, but didn’t know how because of my lack of grounding in Bible reading.

Neither Calvin nor Arminius rely upon the simple Roman Road of Faith, and neither theology believes in Eternal Security of the Believer. (Calvin says that if you don’t hate & cast out every sin you are not really saved. Arminius says you can loose your state of salvation.)

Simple truth that has been obscured by theologians which has served to divide the church for hundreds of years. All the wasted efforts we have expended trying to decide upon which of two incorrect theologies to call ourselves followers of, essentially another gospel of WORKS! Galatians fools we’ve fallen for distractions and lived in defeat because of our sinful natures never being able to stop sinning, always looking to self instead of God.

So what am I? A believer in Jesus Christ of Nazareth covered by his blood  and thereby eternally secure by his propitiation unto adoption to be joint heir with Him by the grace of God.
