Why I Don’t Believe in Nephilim

Hi S., You have a wonderful focused mind, you are an awesome debater, I know you must give your professors a great challenge! I’ll give you all the points you’ve made, I agree with them all. But they don’t change my assessment of the sources of these particular named teachers’ and writers’ materials to which I’ve been referring. Yes, as you’ve said we must and I have used men’s writings and analysis in coming to distrust these particular works by these particular people. I don’t have scholarly expertise, just KJV Bible and English language and the place I’m on in the road to working out my salvation in the fear of the Lord.

My questions;
1.What about the uncanonized manuscripts?
2.Mormon book of Jasher? 3.book of Enoch?
4.Other uncanocial writings of recent discoveries?

Jesus Christ told his disciples while yet in his earthly ministry that the spirit of antichrist was already at work in the world, so the ancient age of manuscripts does not make them true testimonies of the Word of God. Jesus said that the Word of God would not pass away. He never said that a part of it would be hidden until the end times. That is the only thing we have had since He went to the Father in heaven. He founded the earth upon it and with it. He gave it all, many of the sealed things in Daniel were revealed and fulfilled in Jesus life, death, and resurrection.

The sealed book of life is for the judgment which each person will go through. His second coming will be witnessed by everyone. More about the future I do not understand. I have consulted men’s writings who have studied the languages and the history, but they did not change or add to the gospel.

Also as for fallen angels being changed, I don’t see any accepted source saying they received additional powers from God their Creator to procreate. They would have been elevated for disobeying God as man was made in the image of God, but angels were not.

Quayle, Horn, Riggs, Dizdar, & etc. are using these sources (and the ones I gave in previous posted comments) that add to and change the gospel. It is not lightly that I’ve dismissed them and their teachings about nephilim.

I praise the Lord for such a wonderful iron sharpening sister in the Only Begotten Son of God, the only Propitiation for us, the Way, the Truth, and the Door to eternal life, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.:)

God Has a Better Music

I can imagine the joy of making music with the guitar and wanting to take it with him, but I don’t think the instrument would have fit into heaven if it had even been possible. The music of the spheres of God would have made the guitar sound infinitely worse than my rendition of “Jingle Bells” on my toy piano compared to a church organ.

I don’t think I would honor the wish to have “stuff” buried with a loved one that would cause someone to want to steal it, just think of the grave-robbers of ancient societies as well as the unfortunate unwise memorial employee who now has this ignominious deed to his discredit.

Things never stay buried anyhow, just think of all the archeology digs even of the recent past of the Columbian explorers. The bones of the people are dishonored and their gold and treasures taken and put in a museum or worse yet put onto the market place.

I’d much rather have read a story about the father of 9 children and 29 grandchildren having given the guitar to one of them to play forward into life. Instruments are meant to be played, in joy and in sadness, to soothe the spirit, to celebrate, to commemorate, to look forward, in all seasons, making a joyful noise unto the Lord.

BUT

Every secret always come to light, the true light of God is single and pure, it exposes, judges, sanitizes, and heals. There is no confusion in it.

There is a light that is counterfeit which is in reality darkness. The world gives this guidance as popular culture, pleasant to behold until its trap is sprung, the jaws of it gleaming cruelly.

Don’t be afraid of the dark.
Don’t be afraid of loud roaring noises.
Don’t be afraid of evil.

Fear rather God who can destroy both the body and the soul. There is no darkness in Him at all, He is Light.

MyMater & Me

Just to introduce my new background, I’m using this old Polaroid complete with the tab still attached that you pulled out of the camera to activate the developing jell that squished between the positive paper and the negative backing paper.

You had to carefully hold onto the whole assembly for 60 seconds, then peel it apart and apply your fixer liquid with the kit brush to coat the picture to keep it from fading away. I still remember the smell of that chemical concoction.

I remember my dad (whose finger print is in the lower right hand corner) across the street making the picture and me doing what I liked best, skipping on the sidewalk, while my mother and my grand aunt and uncle sat on the park bench.

I think it was in Waukeegan, WI. , but no idea why we were there, but I enjoyed myself where ever I was when I was four.  I still do.

Hi again, Susan, Now I’ve watched, here goes my reaction to your post;

After giving the folks like Donald Wildmon’s AFA (AFA also sells a family-friendly internet filter for an annual fee of $49.95.) a couple of decades to influence the cleaning up of the air waves I think they’ve done a, excuse my French here, Susan, piss poor job! I have to say if anything they’ve made it worse for the true church by giving the illusion that there is a way to take the powers of the air over for good.

So church members keep on paying the bills and surfing the channels for “something decent” to watch all the while getting flashed in the face with putridness of ALL kinds.

I do think that we have to point it out that this is abhorrent sinful behavior, but I think these folks (not 100% of them), AFA and FOX are pharisees who want to take us under the law again, I think they’re pseudo conservatives who want to make over the world for the kingdom-now-theology that will lead (they hope?)to Antichrist setup in the one world order of “peace and safety/ security” (that is until the mark of the beast is trotted out).

It is so complex how the forces of antichrist work all the angles, liberal/conservative, right/left, R&D.

Personally I’ve never been more defrauded than when I’ve watched and listened to the prurient news reports that O’Rielly, Hannity, etc. and the prom queen–leg crossing–high heeled beautiful talking heads, with the defrauding “news” film footage of the things FOX is “outraged” about. Visit the website and get the most titillating stories on their sidebars and advertisements as well as their Murdoch network and pornography connections. It just doesn’t wash to me.

A controversy stops existing when people refuse to watch. That’s the only solution.

Christians watching TV, just deactivate the 95% of channels that offend Jesus or stop enriching the makers of those shows with pay subscriptions. We’ve been lead to believe that our “Christian” dollar is valuable to these people, but that is a lie. These people who make TV of this kind have no need for our money, they want to make the church just as dirty as the world.

We do have choices, and they are cut and dried, dear friend, we can cut off the offending limb or pluck out the offending eye, but we’re not going to stop the networks from putting this life offending–junk on the air. Jesus Christ’s kingdom is not of this world. “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”, I echo in prayer for the true church not made with hands.:)
